Highlights on the Quarterly Meeting Held by the INYCF

The Meeting held yesterday being 20th May, 2023  recorded huge success as Sons, Daughters across villages of Ikwo Noyo came out in their number to actively participate in the quarterly general meeting of the Ikwo Noyo Youths Consultative Forum aimed to discuss important matters and provide updates on the organization’s progress.

Opening Speech:

President General welcomed and acknowledged the attendees and expressed gratitude for their presence. He highlighted the significance of the meeting and set the tone for productive discussions.

Review of Previous Quarter:

A comprehensive review of the previous quarter’s performances and achievements was presented by The President General. This included key projects completed, milestones achieved, and notable successes recorded in maintaining peace and order in Ikwo. The positive outcomes and challenges faced were discussed in detail, allowing for a transparent and informative exchange of information.

Some of the achievements were:

  1. Partnership with Ikwo music/entertainment industry of Ikwo origin to do a peace dialectical songs when Ikwo was in dare need of peace
  2. Organizing a one million man unity and peace road Walk
  3. Networking all the village youth president across Ikwo and integrated them under INYCF umbrella
  4. Opening of website -www.ikwonoyoyouthscf.com
  5. Empowering youths with POS machines still ongoing

Key Agenda Discussed

  1. Prayer summit to mark ONE YEAR in office: The forum agreed to organized a 2 days prayer summit to mark 1yr in office which will hold on 30th of June and 1st July… Committees were setup to organize and oversees the activities of the prayer summit
  2. Provision of Forum official vehicle as means of transportation: The association saw the need to have an official vehicle and hence, constituted a committee to work towards actualizing that in the next 6months. Modalities to get that done will be made known to us by the already set committees.
  3. Recklessness by the tipper drivers and Keke riders in ikwo: The forum resorted that they will write officially and invite the leaderships of the association to caution their drivers to stop further ugly occurrences

During the meeting, an Audit committee was also set to audit the first one year in office of the present administration and Budget committee was also inaugurated to ensure the association budget for the second year in office is administered etc

Open discussion Forum and Q&A Session: A dedicated session was allocated for open discussions, questions, and suggestions from the attendees. This allowed for active participation and the sharing of valuable insights, ideas, and concerns. Attendees had the opportunity to address any queries or seek clarification on organizational matters.
